The short version

Robidus, in three parts

  1. The problem

Managers had no tool for guiding a sick employee back to work, so every step was tracked by hand and a good share of them were forgotten. Support absorbed the difference: hundreds of calls a month that existed only because the information was somewhere else.

  2. What I did

Ten interviews, split evenly between managers and case handlers. A sweep of the competition, which turned out to be fragmented and dated. Customer journeys for both sides, then three design directions put through ten rounds of user testing with real users.

  3. What shipped

A web app, a mobile app and a website behind a single login. Managers get one overview of every employee and what is owed this week; employees get their own reintegration timeline and can see where they are. Support sits inside the screen that raises the question. All of it on a modular design system the team still builds on.
