Case studies

Everything I have designed, developed, or both.

Real client work sits alongside concepts built to show range, each one shown as the product rather than written up. A few are below in full. The rest are a grid you can filter.

“Collaborating with Midosu Studio has been an absolute pleasure. Their expertise in web development and editing has truly elevated our website.”

Legal platform

LDU

Design & Development

A Singapore legal solution provider that had a brochure, and now has a five-language site its own team edits, a partner portal, and a client product where a company assembles a team of digital twins of the professionals on LDU's roster.

Qualified enquiries a month through the site
3.4×was 11 a month
Of new matters opened in the client app
64%was email and phone
Of enquiries now in the four added languages

Preventive health

My Active Age

Design & Development

A Dutch preventive-health clinic whose site sold a number and whose customers wanted a plan, rebuilt as one system: nine investigations rendered from one component, and a portal that changes shape depending on where in the programme you actually are.

Programme sign-ups a month from the site
2.9×was 24 a month
Of clients open their results in the portal each week
78%was a PDF by email
Of admin time given back every week
6 hrswas spreadsheets and email
“The site and the two apps changed how we work. My team spends its time with clients instead of on admin, and we are seeing far more people book a first scan.”

Private client work

Most of my work sits behind a login.

Much of what I build is internal software under NDA, so there are no screens to show. This is what it changed.

  • Social security

    Robidus

    Under NDA

The largest social-security service provider in the Netherlands. I built a family of connected web apps, the way Google's products connect.

    Visit robidus.nl

    What it brought

    • 200%+ work efficiency
    • Fewer support tickets
    • A growing knowledge base
    What I built
    • An absence platform where employers' absence managers and Robidus staff guide a sick employee back to work, for 600 employers and 350 case managers.
    • A knowledge-sharing platform that teaches staff and absence managers Robidus's services and the know-how each platform needs.
    • Management platforms that run the internal side of the operation.
    • A gateway portal: one front door that sends every user to the platform they need.
  • Restaurant technology

    Okya

    Under NDA

A white-label restaurant suite that chains like Jollibee and Jones Salad run under their own name. I reimagined every product in it.

    Visit okya.co

    What it brought

    • Faster order taking
    • More upsell per order
    • Smoother kitchen logistics
    What I built
    • Point of sale and self-ordering kiosk, redesigned around the order.
    • Kitchen display and order management, so the kitchen sees what to make next.
    • The admin portal a brand runs every location from.
    • White-label throughout, so each brand ships it as its own product.
  • Recruitment platform

    Qandidates

    Under NDA

A private hiring platform where tech workers could look for a new job without going public. It ran for several years and has since shut down.

    No longer online

    What it brought

    • 100+ placed within six months
    • Job switches kept private
    • Passive candidates reached
    What I built
    • The candidate side: an anonymous profile the tech worker controls.
    • The recruiter side: finding candidates who stay anonymous until they choose otherwise.

Everything else

The rest of the work.

Filter by what I did.

  1. Taskchain

    Crypto micro-task marketplaceConcept

I built Taskchain as a concept for an invented marketplace where small tasks are paid out the moment they are approved. The money for a task is held in escrow from the day it is posted, and one cool blue on a night-blue ground only ever means value moving.

  2. Ensemble

    Marketing operationsConcept

I built Ensemble as a working prototype of a back office for a small brand's marketing. You put together a crew of AI specialists, hand them briefs and let them argue a decision out in a room, and nothing leaves the building until a person signs it off. The brand it runs for, Halyard, is invented.

  3. Teia

    Ecology researchDesign

Field biologists were running animal-data projects out of Excel. This gave them one place to plan, import and assign.

  4. Qonnections

    HR & recruitmentDevelopment

A marketing site for Qonnections, an HR and marketing recruitment agency.

  5. Qompliant

    Finance & complianceDevelopment

A marketing site for Qompliant, a long-term partner in finance, legal, risk and compliance.

  6. Workout Therapy

    PhysiotherapyDesign & Development

A marketing site for a physiotherapist and trainer in Amsterdam Zuid, specialised in post-operative rehab.

  7. MH Physique

    Fitness coachingDesign & Development

A landing page for MH Physique, the hypertrophy coaching app built on Menno Henselmans's evidence-based methods.

  8. Searchflow

    Marketing agencyDesign & Development

A marketing site for Searchflow, an online marketing and web design studio in Almelo.

    Social growthDesign & Development

A marketing site for Directboost, an automated Instagram growth service that reaches real, engaged followers.

  10. Rebels

    Software consultancyDesign

A marketing site for Rebels, an IT consultancy specialised in software development.

    Circular economy mediaDesign & Development

A marketing site for Circular Pioneers, a content studio for the changemakers driving the circular economy.

Start here

Tell me what you are building.

Eight short questions, one at a time. Most people are through it before their coffee gets cold.

  • About 2 minutes.
  • Nothing shared, nothing stored beyond my inbox.
  • A reply within one working day, or nothing at all.

Next start: next month. One project at a time.

Milan, who runs Midosu Studio

Milan. It is me asking, not a form.
